Hi Aimie. Nice to see you. You’re the Aimie from IMDB right? Anyway, the problem you have with plot is the most difficult thing to perfect even for the most skilled writers. I have written some posts on the topic that I think you will find very helpful. I’ll list them below. I had stopped receiving a lot of feedback so I didn’t know people still read this blog, or I would have finished the series. lol

Absolutley love reading your site, just so you know.
I guess I’m a random writer. I’m just walking or listening to a song and then an idea will jump into my head and I have to write it down on whatever I can find. Only a few of these develop though and I keep writing until another idea apears and I have to pursue it. Probably not the best way but it means I always have something going and then I usually write better when I have time to think about it. It’s hard working out the plot though. Sometimes ideas just come but there are times where I just have to draw out a mind map and figure and whats going where

Just quickly breaking your question down to points:

1) This isn’t anything someone can answer for you, and leave you satisfied. Each must consider the evidence and come to his own conclusion.

2) Yes

3) No. Water doesn’t dream that I’m aware of. Something, or more likely, someone, is still responsible for that river, and placed the laws governing it in place.

4) Exactly!

5) Yes, exactly.

6) Who said only one of a given species was created. Humankind had two, why not animals. It only makes sense.

7) What do you mean? We observe changes and adaptations of species. Just no proof of one species evolving into another entirely.

Last 2nd to last sentence: What would it take for that to happen?

Good, so far. Does a god of creation have to be designed as represented in the bible? Does this “causal force” god have to be alive itself? Does the water in a river have any deliberate dream of what shape the bank of the river will have? It is not aware, yet certainly shapes the bank of the river and all things in its environment.
How do we get from a chemical soup to mammals? At each step wouldn’t we have to have more than one critter to reproduce? At any step if one unique form is created it is unique and has nothing to reproduce with? If it can only reproduce with its offspring do we really get a more evolved critter as a result?
I’m not comfortable with the biblical concept of god yet, but I have no problem with a “causal forces” god. Not that I think this is a workable theory yet. Still looking.

I can guarantee there are not punk rockers living on that Island. It is strictly off limits to anyone who does not have permission to be there. And as far as it being spooky… that is an understatement. It is truely an evil place. Lots of horrific deaths and tragically horrid past remains there. It is truely an evil place. For non believers, I dare you to spend just one night alone on that Island.. then report back here
